After Postponing Their Nuptials for a Full Year due to covid reasons, James and Jessica celebrated Their Wedding Day between the sea and the sky at Borgo Egnazia, one of the most exclusive Italian venues, loved from many celebrities coming from every part of the world every year.
Their happiness and smiles filled my heart of joy! They were finally able to realize their dream and to be paid back from months of perseverance and hope!!
The charm and natural beauty of the venue can be easily felt when you enter this marvellous venue in Puglia, representing a typical countryside village with a central piazza, surrounded by tiny streets, houses and villas offering the most luxurious, modern comforts. The climate here is mild and temperate: Mediterranean bushes and lush plants like agave and bougainvillea, grow in its gardens, with a golf court and the sea in walking distance. The fragrance of flowers and citruses blends with the salted scent of the sea waves.
I was so excited when this couple from the U.S. contacted us for their destination wedding in southern Italy! The groom and bride-to-be were so enchanted by Borgo Egnazia that they confirmed this venue before even doing a rehearsal or a tasting, just trusting me! They came later to Italy and knew that they had made the right choice.
The day before the wedding, the couple rent a Vintage Alfa Romeo Duetto car and went around freely to admire the local landscapes and towns
For this couple, Puglia symbolizes the best that the Mediterranean has to offer: summer, sea, and sun! Even if the wedding took place in October, the main inspiration for their flower decorations was an Italian summer sunset with natural shades of cream, brown, white and green. The couple wanted to achieve an elegant result combined with a natural-looking style. On the fantastic terrace overlooking the Borgo and the sea, lanterns and candles were placed at the base of a romantic round décor placed on the floor, surrounding the bride and groom as demi-circle, made of selected roses, lily of the valley, lisianthus, pampas, olive branches and Mediterranean greenery.
A professional harpist made the magic complete, creating an incredible atmosphere during the exciting rite, that I had the honour to officiate.
After the romantic ceremony on the Terrace, the newlyweds enjoyed their aperitif in a secluded corner of the same, panoramic space and then moved to the lower court for the private dinner. The table was set in a wonderful corner, among the olive trees and bushes decorated with hundreds of candles and lights, in front of the Villa private pool. The result was stunning! An unforgettable night on the Apulian Coast!
