Country Masseria

The Farm, built in 1710, is located in the middle of the Valle D’Itria, plunged into a green landscape of olive trees and centuries-old woods. After a careful restoration work, we offer to our guests the opportunity of staying in the uncontaminated nature, in rooms carefully furnished to exalt its original charm.

The building situated in a garden of olive trees and Mediterranean plants, is made up of eleven bedrooms and a wide and delightful room for ceremonies, originally a hayloft of the farm.
The original landowner of the farm was a philosopher, theologian and ancestor of the present landowner family.

A little sacred church is located in the garden, inside you can admire a stone altar and a fresco depicting the deposition of Christ by the famous painter Domenico Carella. This is lovely for a blessing or symbolic wedding ceremony.

A particular characteristic of the Masseria is the threshing floor with a surface of 250 sqm, dating back to 1600.

This enormous open space, was used for beating the wheat after the reaping, and to separate the wheat from the straw.

The blending among the originality of the rooms, the care of the furnishing and of the detail makes particular and romantic the atmosphere of the stay.

Civil (legally binding) wedding is possible onsite, by authorization of the local town hall. Your ceremony can be officiated outdoor, among the olives, or in any other space you may like.
The following reception and party can easily be arranged with the use of the several amazing spots of the farm, creating a taste itinerary going from the welcome aperitif to the wedding cake!
