Monopoli is a wonderful town located by the sea, full of life and places where time seems to have stopped.

The most particular location allowing civil weddings here is the “Carlo V Castle”, allowed by the local town hall to host legal weddings.

The castle of Monopoli, wanted by Charles V and for him edited by the illustrious Viceroy Don Pedro of Toledo, was built on the strip of land more advanced than the sea and it was an integral part of the coastal fortification system.

According to another theory the construction by the manor instead it was taken care of by the marquis Don Ferrante Loffredo, and indicates the year 1552 for the end of the works.
The castle is really particular since it is set by the sea but in the centre of the town at the same time. This is a good opportunity to arrange a memorable reception in walking distance, while having a wedding photo shooting among the tiny streets of the old town, bringing to amazing restaurants and location to go on with wedding celebrations until late night!
